Our one on one coaching will help your students explore career opportunities while also developing critical skills for future success. Employers look for education and skill, along with advanced skills in communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence, critical thinking and more. We work with your student to develop technical skills as well as the equally important :soft skills" employers are focused on.

At The Bench Strategy, we believe that access to STEM and aerospace exploration should be available to everyone, regardless of background. Talent is everywhere, and so should opportunity be. That’s why we proudly support organizations like Pearson Field Education Center, which opens the door for young people to experience hands-on learning in aerospace. Together, we’re creating pathways to inspire the next generation of innovators and aviation professionals.
A portion of the profits from all Bench Strategy events and activities at PFEC help to keep the facility staffed and operating to serve families in SW Washington & the great Portland Metro area.

- Overview: Introduce young explorers to the wonders of our solar system! Through hands-on activities and interactive lessons, students will learn about planets, stars, and space travel basics.
- Activities: Build a solar system model, create constellation maps, and explore how astronauts prepare for space missions.
- Topics Covered: The solar system, commercial space exploration, and basic robotics.

- Overview: This camp will inspire future aviators with an introduction to the world of flight and drones. Kids will get hands-on with mini drone piloting and aviation fundamentals.
- Activities: Fly mini drones, learn about different types of aircraft, and create simple paper airplanes and test flight principles.
- Topics Covered: Basics of aviation, drones, and fundamental robotics.

- Overview: Students dive into robotics by building and programming their own simple robots. They'll learn the basics of how robots work and why they're used in space and aviation.
- Activities: Design and program basic robots, participate in obstacle courses, and learn about real-world robotic applications in aerospace.
- Topics Covered: Robotics, introductory programming, and basic commercial space concepts.
